Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Audiologist to join our team. As a key member of our audiology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our pediatric audiology services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive audiological services to pediatric patients, including diagnostic testing, hearing aid selection and fitting, and auditory rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatricians, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric audiology and incorporate evidence-based practices into your work.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of audiology services and programs within the department and system.
- Clinical Doctorate degree in Audiology or PhD in Audiology.
- 2+ years of experience in pediatric audiology, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- CPR certification and state license for Audiology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in audiology (ASHA) or Board Certified in Audiology (ABA) or eligible to apply for either.
