Pediatric Audiologist

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Audiologist to provide per diem services in Frisco, Texas.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly qualified Audiologist to join our team and provide out-patient services, focusing on diagnosing hearing loss for pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have a Clinical Doctorate degree in Audiology or PhD in Audiology, and be certified in Audiology (ASHA) or Board Certified in Audiology (ABA).
Responsibilities:
The Audiologist will be responsible for providing a range of audiology services, including behavioral audiometry, auditory brainstem response, otoacoustic emissions, infant newborn hearing screenings, evaluation and selection of hearing aids, FM systems, and other assistive listening devices. The position will also include patient and caregiver education, consultation with other professionals, and documentation of services provided.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, the Audiologist must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will also have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a passion for working with pediatric patients.
