Job Opportunity

Anchor QEA is seeking a senior-level professional to expand our presence in the Environmental Restoration Practice. We are looking for an individual with experience in identifying, designing, planning, and implementing habitat and ecological restoration projects and programs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead or provide strategic direction for comprehensive scope development, fee negotiations, project schedule and deliverable milestones development, technical and financial project management activities, client and stakeholder coordination, project implementation, and subcontractor administration.
  • Provide technical oversight and final review on wetland restoration and mitigation projects including design and monitoring plan development.
  • Prepare permits necessary for wetland restoration and mitigation project implementation.
  • Identify strategic teaming partners and actively build relationships, helping to identify and support staff resource and hiring needs.
  • Provide active mentorship and oversight of junior level staff.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to generate new business over their career and growing a wetland habitat and ecological restoration practice in the environmental consulting field, with a focus on federal, state, and local clients.
  • Wetland habitat (e.g., wetland, buffers) restoration design experience including compensatory mitigation, habitat/wetland banks, and general mitigation.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree (preferred) in Sciences, Civil Engineering (or equivalent), or restoration related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in wetland habitat and ecological restoration planning and/or design, project management, staff management, and sales with regional and national clients.
  • Proven experience in building partnerships with federal, state, and local clients.
  • Self-motivation, drive, and ability to work collaboratively to maximize successful project outcomes.
