Senior Carpenter

Sid Grinker Restoration Inc is seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter to oversee construction projects and provide guidance to the project team.

• Provide leadership and supervision to the project team involved in construction projects.
• Ensure the project team completes tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Site preparation, demolition, and excavation.
• Rough framing and carpentry.
• Operate power tools and small equipment.
• Window and door installation.
• Interior and exterior trim.
• Cabinetry installation.
• General understanding of building science and trade work (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, etc.).
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Communication with the team and clientele.
• Capacity to learn and continually improve.
• Assign and explain tasks to the project team.
• Respond to clients' requests for emergency repairs.
• Regularly inspect work done by the project team to ensure it conforms to certain specifications.
• Help the production manager solve project-related problems.

• Proven experience as a lead carpenter.
• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• The ability to safely operate power tools.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proven experience in residential remodeling or construction.
• Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
• The ability to read blueprints.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
