Mechanical Maintenance Technician Overview


The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will provide support across all production sectors by diagnosing, repairing, and executing preventative maintenance on all equipment and systems related to packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Efficiently identify and resolve significant issues with packaging machinery.

2. Conduct routine preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery.

3. Collaborate with maintenance supervisors to develop and implement innovative strategies aimed at enhancing productivity.

4. Maintain appropriate inventory levels of spare parts to ensure comprehensive support for all packaging machinery.


5. Regularly assess machine performance, pinpointing issues and proposing or executing technological improvements to boost overall efficiency.


6. Respond promptly and effectively to equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.


7. Engage in all mechanical tasks traditionally handled by both millwrights and pipefitters, providing assistance in packaging areas as necessary.

Qualifications for Success:

- Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance and mechanics.


- Comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance principles and practices, along with the technical expertise required to efficiently address mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation challenges.


- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

- Basic digital literacy and computer skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration across various teams and levels, with a focus on exceptional customer service.What We Offer:
