We are seeking a Land Surveying Specialist to contribute to our dynamic team. This role is crucial for various land development and public infrastructure initiatives. Candidates should possess a strong technical background and a keen interest in surveying practices.
The Land Surveying Specialist will primarily operate in an office environment, collaborating closely with the Field Work Supervisor and the office Survey Manager. The position involves a diverse array of projects, including residential, commercial, and institutional developments, as well as public infrastructure undertakings.
Key Responsibilities
The primary duties of the Land Surveying Specialist include:
- Analyzing civil improvement and grading plans to prepare and assess construction staking calculations.
- Creating survey documentation to facilitate field survey operations, including control, topographic, aerial, and boundary surveys.
- Engaging with clients, contractors, project superintendents, and field survey teams, along with in-house engineering personnel.
- Processing field survey data to ensure quality assurance and quality control.
- Developing exhibits for engineering and surveying teams based on collected field survey data.
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in technical software such as AutoCAD Civil3D, Trimble Business Center, Blue Beam, and Microsoft Suite, as well as advanced field surveying equipment software.
