  • Exhibit a strong determination to achieve outcomes. Responsible for becoming a reliable and proficient tobacconist, consistently collaborating with the team to surpass sales and performance targets.
  • Acquire and uphold comprehensive knowledge of Casa de Montecristo offerings.
  • Support the overall operations of the establishment. Execute all tasks to implement corporate strategies in a timely, efficient, and resourceful manner.
  • Adhere to all Casa de Montecristo guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs), as well as local and state regulations.
  • Uphold visual and cleanliness standards to enhance the brand image. Ensure a comfortable, responsible, and secure atmosphere.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Enthusiastic and dedicated to providing an outstanding customer experience.
  • Proven history of achieving ambitious sales and operational objectives.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and emotional intelligence to respond to frequently changing business conditions with vigor and accountability.
  • Effective communicator with a professional demeanor. Capable of building rapport with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Prior experience in a retail, hospitality, or service-oriented setting.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and/or computer applications.
  • Knowledge of cigars is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours (evenings, weekends, holidays).
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities.
  • Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with cigars is a plus.

Work Environment/Conditions:
During the performance of this role, the employee is frequently exposed to smoke or airborne particles. The employee may occasionally encounter wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the workplace is typically moderate.

Physical Requirements:


In the execution of this role, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally.

The employee often needs to climb or maintain balance, bend, kneel, or sit; the employee must frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 35 pounds.

Specific vision capabilities required for this position include the ability to adjust focus.
