Innovation Scientist

About the Role:

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Innovation Scientist to join our team in Turlock, California. As a key member of our Natural Ingredients business unit, you will play a crucial role in supporting existing and new business growth opportunities for our flavor technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute ideas and demonstrate expertise in food & beverage product development areas.
• Design and create products using new or existing ingredients, flavors & colors.
• Effectively communicate project status to management.
• Lead cross-functional project activities and provide ongoing communication to global team members.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of agricultural-based food ingredients and spices.
• Experience with food science and technology, flavor technologies, and food ingredient technologies.
• Innovation-minded and creative problem solver/thinker.

We employ advanced technologies at facilities around the world to develop specialty food and beverage systems, cosmetic and pharmaceutical systems, specialty colors, and other specialty and fine chemicals. Our customers include major international manufacturers representing most of the world's best-known brands.

Salary Range: $94,550 - $126,000 USD. Pay is based on several factors, including education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive pay.
