About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Scientist to join our team at Sensient Technologies. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our product applications, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and supervise the Pilot Plant, including equipment maintenance, sanitation, and planning of applications work.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing staff to support business objectives and develop new product concepts.
  • Conduct cost analysis for product development and renovation projects, and coordinate product sensory testing with the central sensory team.
  • Lead or participate in new product development projects, customer-focused collaborative teams, and other methods of developing new product concepts.
Requirements
  • Completed BS degree in Food Science or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of industrial food R&D experience, preferably in ingredient development and food applications development.
  • A thorough understanding of nutrition, food chemistry, shelf life, and sensory studies.
  • A good understanding of Food Safety, Quality, and FDA Regulatory.
