Position Summary

E2b Calibration, an accredited calibration laboratory and repair facility, specializes in the maintenance and repair of ground support equipment (GSE). We are expanding our team of technicians and seeking a proficient mechanic to conduct maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of ground support equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service various types of GSE, including but not limited to: aircraft jacks, hydraulic power units, ground power units, towing equipment, vehicles, engine slings, and hoists.
  • Conduct proof load testing on aircraft jacks and other lifting devices.
  • Repair and overhaul hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose issues with equipment and determine necessary repairs.
  • Ensure proper functionality of equipment in accordance with OEM manuals and testing protocols.
  • Calibrate a variety of gauges, including pressure gauges, temperature gauges, and flow meters.
  • Document all maintenance activities and complete service reports.
  • Engage with customers and address inquiries regarding services performed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Travel to customer facilities as required, including frequent overnight trips across the USA.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in using standard hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read and understand procedures in OEM and service manuals.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
  • Computer literate and eager to learn the company’s software systems.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and be either a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident.

On-the-job training will be provided. Mechanical experience is advantageous. Previous experience with GSE is a plus, but not mandatory.
