National Account Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused National Account Delivery Specialist to join our team at Interstate Batteries. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for consistently servicing and aggressively expanding an assigned set of customers along a predetermined route.
Key Responsibilities- Sell new batteries to National Account dealers
- Rotate batteries and collect cores
- Maintain the route by keeping displays clean and keeping dealer list up to date
- Service each National Account dealer
- Establish, build and maintain good dealer relationships
- Complete documentation on a timely basis
- Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to Distributorship
- Prior sales experience highly desirable
- Good communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Current, valid state driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to read, write and compute basic math
- Successful completion of a post-offer criminal background check and drug test is required
This role requires frequent independent judgment when making decisions and involves regular use of hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk. Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to lift and/or move 50+ lbs. Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
