Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examinations and record vital signs
  • Document patient information for the dermatologist
  • Assist with various procedures, including injections and suture removals
  • Manage patient appointment scheduling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms
  • Support physicians in delivering patient care
  • Facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes
  • Room patients and take vital signs
  • Handle phone inquiries and patient scheduling
  • Process referrals and insurance authorizations
  • Prioritize messages from patients and front office staff for medical providers
  • Verify insurance information as necessary

Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dermatology setting
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred

Expectations:
  • Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
  • Experience in dermatology is preferred
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is advantageous
  • Skills in scribing and assisting with minor procedures
