Role Responsibilities
This position is intended for candidates who have attained a PhD in a relevant discipline and possess extensive post-doctoral experience. Responsibilities may include:
- Overseeing the execution of medium to large-scale research initiatives, including managing junior personnel and ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Crafting and executing research and analytical strategies.
- Developing and/or assessing various evaluation tools, including cognitive and non-cognitive assessments (e.g., job knowledge evaluations, situational judgment assessments, personality tests, and physical ability evaluations).
- Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data collected through diverse methodologies (e.g., focus groups, surveys, tests, existing databases, and alignment workshops).
- Utilizing a range of analytical software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS, R, Python, IRT software).
- Conducting classical and IRT item analyses, test scoring, and standard setting.
- Preparing technical documentation and presenting findings to internal teams and/or clients.
- Leading and/or contributing to the formulation of proposals to secure new contracts.
- Mentoring and guiding junior staff members.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues, management, and clients, promoting a strong team-oriented environment.
Applicants should be adaptable to various tasks and projects, with a keen interest in developing innovative solutions that address client requirements.
Qualifications
- PhD in Educational Measurement, Quantitative Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- A minimum of six years of relevant post-doctoral experience.
- Experience with non-cognitive assessments.
- Familiarity with multidimensional forced choice (MFC) assessments is preferred.
- Experience with MUPP and GGUM Models is advantageous.
- Willingness to engage in a variety of projects across different business lines.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated capacity to plan, prioritize, and manage personal and team workloads.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards for product and service quality.
- Desire to learn and innovate in response to client needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and clients.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract stipulations.
