Key Responsibilities- Medical Direction: Provide general medical direction and supervision to our healthcare team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain medical policies and procedures, and oversee the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
- Leadership: Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, and provide direction and supervision to related Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices, and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Education: Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required, with Board Certification in Geriatrics preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population, with previous supervisory experience required.
- Certifications: Current and active plenary physician license to practice in the state of Delaware required, with CDS Certification and DEA Registration required.
