About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior R&D Hardware Engineer to spearhead the development of an advanced multi-finger robotic hand. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge robotic systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical viability and market readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Advanced Robotic Systems: Utilize 3D CAD software to create intricate part geometries, design and construct prototype hardware, and develop mechanical subsystems of the hand.
- Lead High-Level Decisions: Engage in high-level decisions concerning the architecture and design of the robotic hand, applying analytical approaches such as mathematical modeling and simulations.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of the robotic system.
- Develop and Test Mechanical Subsystems: Evaluate the feasibility of concepts, develop and test mechanical subsystems of the hand, and refine and optimize cutting-edge robotic hands.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Biomechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience: Over 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on solving intricate electro-mechanical challenges.
- Skills: Proficient in 3D CAD software, experienced in designing and constructing prototype hardware, skilled in simulation and analysis tools, knowledgeable in miniature actuators and drivetrains, and familiar with fingertip sensing technologies.
