Job Summary

FM Global is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Engineer II to play a critical role in assessing and mitigating risks at client facilities, ensuring the safety and security of people and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site assessments to identify potential risks and hazards, including physical and human element exposures.
  • Evaluate site water supplies, fire protection, electrical systems, and other critical infrastructure to ensure compliance with FM Global Engineering Standards.
  • Develop and implement solutions to mitigate identified risks, working closely with clients and their management teams.
  • Travel to client facilities to perform site assessments and provide recommendations, with occasional overnight travel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (various specialties considered).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy objects, and work at heights.
  • Proficient in MS Office products and able to work effectively in a home office environment.
