Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Senior Educational Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of students.


Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $50-$57 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans as well as a 401(k) with employer match.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide insights to inform instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including 504 meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and contribute expertise in addressing students' needs and goal-setting.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology is required.
  • A valid license or certification as a School Psychologist is necessary.
  • Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
  • Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
