As an In-House Marketing Specialist, your primary role will involve promoting eligible onsite guests to participate in HGV presentations or facilitating the sale of vacation packages at HGV resorts. You will engage with guests promptly, embodying HGV's Cultural Values while delivering exceptional customer service.

  • You will be encouraged to fulfill reasonable requests from management that align with your capabilities.
  • Distributing approved promotional materials and incentives to guests who meet the qualifications set by marketing management will be part of your responsibilities.
  • Accurate completion of required documentation and timely entry of dispositions in our CRM tools (such as VOICE, CHORUS, Eclipse, Salesforce) for each customer interaction and tour is essential.
  • Providing location-specific guest services to resort visitors, including directing them to appropriate resort services for assistance or information, will be expected.
  • You will maintain established Minimum Performance Standards on a monthly basis.
  • Reviewing production reports and communicating any challenges regarding tour shows or package sales to the Manager on Duty in writing will be part of your duties.
  • Engaging with all guests through onsite call campaigns via the company CRM systems will be required.
  • You will provide necessary information to the Fulfillment Department to assist in offering guests the opportunity to receive pre-gifts as a service prior to their tour.
Qualifications

What are we seeking?

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability to work varied hours and shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • A minimum of 1 year of face-to-face consumer sales or marketing experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and guest relations skills.
  • A self-motivated and driven individual.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the local area.

It would be advantageous for candidates to demonstrate the following:

  • A BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree.
