Job Summary

Gallo Mechanical Services is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting and delivering materials and equipment to various construction sites throughout the Gulf Coast region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a truck to transport materials and equipment to and from specified destinations
  • Position blocks, tie rope, and other devices to secure loads during transit
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks and/or trailers
  • Verify loads against shipping papers
  • Maintain logs and records according to DOT regulations as required
  • Maintain and check truck equipment and supplies to ensure roadworthiness
  • Notify supervisors of needed or anticipated repairs
  • Perform minor emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform various yard duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Class A Commercial Driving License
  • Familiarity with trailer bumper and gooseneck trailers and other hauling methods
