Job Summary

The Truck Driver I is a key member of our Gexpro team in St. Rose, LA, responsible for delivering products to/from customers, company branch/warehouse locations, and company suppliers in a delivery van or box truck. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, efficient delivery, and maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain company vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Load and unload vehicles, ensuring all materials are correct and free of damage.
  • Deliver products to customers, completing delivery receipts and ensuring all documentation is accurate.
  • Pick up material returns from customers and inspect the condition of the material.
  • Support other warehouse duties as needed, including preparing and filling orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material.
Requirements
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old.
  • Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of their Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
  • Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
  • Must not have any at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
