Dining Room Server

Job Summary:

As a Dining Room Server at Victorian Senior Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service and a clean dining environment. Your primary responsibility will be to serve food and beverages to residents in a professional and courteous manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room, including sweeping and mopping the floor, washing dishes, and emptying the garbage. Additionally, you will assist with stocking the pantry, keeping the stock room organized, and sweeping and mopping the stockrooms regularly. You will also be responsible for maintaining the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.

Responsibilities:

Serve food and beverages to residents in a professional and courteous manner
Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, including sweeping and mopping the floor, washing dishes, and emptying the garbage
Assist with stocking the pantry and keeping the stock room organized
Sweep and mop the stockrooms regularly
Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident

Requirements:

Must be able to read, write, understand, and follow directions
Must have no substantiated findings on the NC Personnel Registry or Health Care Program
Must have a clear SBI and DMV record and maintain them during the period of employment
Must be at least 16 years old
Must be able to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
Must obtain a two-step tuberculin skin test (first step prior to hire and second step within two weeks of the first test)
Must wear slip-resistant shoes while working in the dietary at all times
