The City of Rice Lake is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of City Clerk-Treasurer. This is a full-time, salaried role that requires a bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field, as well as specialized municipal government training and experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in issuing licenses and permits, registering voters, administering elections, and coordinating meeting agendas and minutes. They will also have a working knowledge of electronic data processing equipment/software, modern office practices, and accounting principles and procedures.

The City of Rice Lake offers a generous benefit package, including participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System. The salary range for this position is $88,750-$95,250 per year, dependent upon qualifications and experience.

The City of Rice Lake is an Equal Opportunity Employer and seeks candidates who possess Wisconsin Certified Professional Clerk (WCPC) or Certified Municipal Treasurer of Wisconsin (CMTW) designation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising four employees and indirectly supervising City Hall office staff and Election Inspectors during direct reports' absences and other personnel during the City Administrator's absence.

The City Clerk-Treasurer will be responsible for maintaining records, preparing property taxes, accounting, and financial reporting. They will also be expected to attend meetings, coordinate with other departments, and provide excellent customer service to the public.
