Day Shift (United States of America)
Position Overview:
The Electromechanical Assembly Technician is tasked with assembling control panels. The technician will utilize standard electrical and mechanical components to construct custom panels according to job specifications. This role requires minimal supervision, although collaboration with Technicians or the Engineering Department may be necessary based on design complexity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble both non-electrified and electrified components by adhering to the provided job instructions.
- Conduct testing and initial inspections of electrified components for functionality.
- Request replacement tools or supplies as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
- Perform inventory cycle counts as required.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to pass truck and crane certification training upon hire.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
- Capability to read a tape measure and blueprints.
- Skilled in using hand tools requiring manual dexterity.
- Effective communication skills with factory supervision.
Work Environment:
- Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements: Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand (75%); walk (20%); stoop, kneel, or crouch (5%) as necessary.
- Capable of climbing portable ladders.
- Required to wear safety glasses and protective footwear throughout the shift.
- Must wear hearing protection (ear plugs) in environments with moderate noise levels.
