About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Services Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff at a single site. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the satisfactory and timely completion of project and program work, while maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff
  • Lead staff training, quality control, and in-servicing
  • Coordinate and ensure the satisfactory and timely completion of project and program work
  • Maintain income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment records
  • Act as liaison between building occupants or administrators and HCSG staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow oral and written instructions. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and two years' experience in Environmental Services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
