We are seeking a skilled Commercial Glazing Technician to join our team at Craftsmen Resources. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining glass and glazing systems for commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, and install glass panes for various commercial and residential applications.
- Cut, fit, and install metal hardware, frames, and fixtures.
- Apply waterproofing products to ensure a secure and durable installation.
- Safely operate glass cutting tools, glass cups, levels, power drills, saws, and hammer/mallet.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform other responsibilities as directed by your supervisor.
- Emphasize safety and well-being in the workplace.
- 1-5 years of experience in glazing, window installation, or carpentry (glazing preferred).
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds and push/pull objects as required.
- Capacity to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, crawl, kneel, and reach.
- Commitment to working at least 40 hours per week and overtime as needed.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
