Cafe Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cafe Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Cafe Associate, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food, maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, and providing exceptional customer service to our members.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and Serve Food: Prepare food according to item specifications, maintain inventory, and ensure high-quality products are fresh and available in the cafe.
• Maintain a Clean Environment: Sweep, mop, and clean the cafe area, maintain temperature control, and dispose of lesser-quality food products.
• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Acknowledge members, identify their needs, and assist with purchasing decisions, payment types, and locating merchandise.
• Work as a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
• Adhere to Food Safety Standards: Understand and follow food safety guidelines, sanitation procedures, and inventory management to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our members.

Requirements

• Food Service Experience: Previous experience in food service, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting.
• Food Safety Certification: Possess a Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification.
• Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with members and team members.
