Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma's largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Edmond, OK. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will work PRN with our Nuclear Medicine team, providing exceptional care to patients who have entrusted INTEGRIS Health with their healthcare needs.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Perform highly technical nuclear medicine procedures, utilizing computers to process and manipulate patient data
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines
  • Record patient results and perform quality control procedures on nuclear medicine equipment
  • Calculate decay of radiopharmaceuticals and their biological half-lives, and compound complex drug kits
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Current Nuclear Medicine Technology certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or Nuclear medicine Technology Board
  • Current CPR certification
  • Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written)
