Position Overview:
Desire Home Care, Inc. is in search of a dedicated and certified Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide exceptional in-home support to clients in Riverside County. In this role, you will deliver personalized care, assist with daily living activities, and offer emotional encouragement to our clients. Your contribution will be vital in helping clients uphold their independence and enhance their overall well-being.

Compensation Details:

  • $22-$30 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Support daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervising staff
  • Follow the care plan established by the client's healthcare team
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of services rendered
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the healthcare team
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control measures
  • Participate in training and educational programs to uphold and enhance CHHA certification

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid CHHA certification in California
  • Prior experience in home health care or a related field is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Physical and TB clearance valid within the year
  • Proficient in completing documentation using agency EMR systems

Work Schedule:
Shifts are limited to 8 hours, with no holiday shifts.

Available shifts include morning, afternoon, and evening.
