About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team at DocGo. As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing top-tier medical transport services to patients in need.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Be flexible and adapt to changing shift schedules due to the 24-hour nature of emergency services.
  • Stay up-to-date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and certifications.
  • Provide courteous, helpful, and professional service to patients, coworkers, supervisors, and the public.
  • Recognize and treat medical conditions with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of state and county protocols.
  • Provide medical transport to medical facilities, assuming responsibility for patient care and adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain rig cleanliness and stock supplies as needed.
  • Gather patient billing information and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Prepare and submit pre-hospital patient care reports.
  • Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.
Qualifications
  • New York State Paramedic Certification
  • Hudson Valley REMAC Certification
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Valid Healthcare Provider CPR Card
  • Valid ACLS Certification
  • Valid PALS Certification
  • Able to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs or more
  • Technologically savvy or comfortable with technology
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Respectful of colleagues, patients, and supervisors
