Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist - Revenue Cycle Expert

We are seeking a skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions in Central Albuquerque. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity that requires adaptability and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full revenue cycle process from start to finish. You will need to have experience working with EMR systems and Microsoft Office, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance payers and ICD codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire revenue cycle process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections.
  • Work closely with the healthcare client to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical Billing/Coding Certification desired (not required).
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a medical billing position.
  • Experience working within EMR Systems and Microsoft Office.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform multiple tasks throughout the day.
  • Knowledge of all insurance payers and ICD codes.
  • Able to meet production metrics as outlined by management.
  • Can work well within multiple software systems, including EMR and Microsoft Office.
Pay Details:

The estimated salary for this role is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
