Join Evident's Team of Skilled Machinists

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist II to join our team at Evident. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of manual machine shop equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work from blueprints, process sheets, and sketches to perform production tasks, including cutting and shaping metals and plastics to precision dimensions.
  • Communicate directly with engineers to understand the purpose of a part assembly.
  • Check and inspect machining operations against specified tolerances.
  • Identify and repair minor machine malfunctions.

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent; Trade School or Associate's Degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience working in a lean manufacturing environment a plus; CNC background required.
  • Good manual dexterity, computer skills, and literacy a plus.
