Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Specimen Collector to join our team in Heber, UT. As a Field Laboratory Representative, you will play a critical role in the quantitative drug testing analysis performed by our client.

Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and safely obtain urine samples from patients for laboratory testing. You will conduct observed and/or supervised specimen collections, ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the collection, processing, and shipping of urine specimens
  • Collect urine specimens from patients
  • Properly label and document specimens, preparing them for shipment
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and compassion when interacting with patients, physicians, and clinic staff
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse patient population base
  • Follow Universal Precautions and OSHA standards when handling specimens
  • Maintain neat, clean, and orderly patient/work areas at all times

Requirements:

  • Verifiable track record of providing excellent customer service
  • Reliable work ethic and strong computer skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Familiarity with multiple software programs and ability to manage email and reports

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday: 12 pm - 6:30 pm, Friday: 10 am - 2 pm

Estimated Salary: $16.50 per hour + mileage
