Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Professional to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients with cardiac conditions.


About the Role

This is a full-time position working 0.9 FTE, with 72 hours per 2 weeks and 12-hour night shifts from 7 pm - 7 am.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nursing assessments to gather data and identify patient needs in accordance with ANA standards and NCBON.
  • Coordinate and communicate patient care needs for discharge planning in interdisciplinary care conferences and with members of the healthcare team.
  • Develop and implement an individualized nursing care plan with the patient and family that addresses identified needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate the plan of care and facilitate patient outcomes.

Requirements
  • A graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • A current valid North Carolina nursing license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • One year of acute nursing experience.
