Access Dubuque is currently seeking a dedicated individual for a Production Operator position. This role is essential in supporting our manufacturing operations and is a full-time opportunity.
Job Title: Production Operator - 2nd Shift
Compensation: $20.22 per hour, with an additional $1 shift differential
Working Hours: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to established production standards while executing all aspects of the manufacturing process.
- Conduct inspections of equipment to guarantee proper functionality and safety.
- Follow operational protocols and complete necessary documentation.
- Maintain sanitation, safety, and quality control standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Accurately record counts and weights of produced items.
- Immediately report any defective or non-compliant products to the Packaging Leader.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitation tasks as required.
- Support other areas of the manufacturing facility as needed.
- Help train new employees on specific job tasks within the production area.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand both written and verbal instructions in English.
- Familiarity with the proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Basic math skills to calculate production yields and comprehend weights and measures.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in the food or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
