Our team members are engaged in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management of individuals living with OUD. We treat the whole person and address the underlying causes of OUD in an effort to provide a continuum of care that not only addresses treatment needs but supports the patient on their journey to recovery.

Job Summary:

We operate a number of nationally recognized and accredited methadone treatment centers dedicated to helping individuals with prescription drug abuse and/or opiate addiction regain control of their lives.

We take great pride in treating our patients with dignity and respect in each phase of their treatment experience.

Essential Functions:

Our Counselor - Level 4 will:

  1. Work with patients to complete all intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
  2. Document patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
  3. Complete patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within the required time frame.
  4. Identify any clinical/case management needs and work to address those needs.
  5. Perform individual, group, and family counseling as required.
  6. Perform direct one-on-one patient contact through individual or group counseling.
  7. Report patient abuse, neglect, and exploitation as required.
  8. Report patient grievances as required.
  9. Educate patients in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues, and steps to recovery.
  10. Obtain Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
  11. Assist in monitoring all patient activities on center premises.
  12. Actively participate in community relations activities as directed and authorized.
  13. Ensure the reading and understanding of the Policy and Procedures Manual.
  14. Ensure compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA).
  15. Be responsible for obtaining or maintaining proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements.
  16. Actively participate in preparation for surveys and inspections conducted by CARF, the State, DEA, Board of Pharmacy, and any other agency site visits as dictated by the state laws or regulations.
  17. Participate in all staff meetings.
  18. Ensure compliance with local, State, Federal, and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations, and policies.
  19. Always act in the best interests of the program and company; honor, support, and protect the proprietary data and rights of the company.
  20. Perform other tasks as assigned by clinic, region, or corporate leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A Master's degree in a related field.
  2. A minimum of 500 hours of experience in the substance abuse field.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. The ability to multitask, prioritize, and be dependable and reliable.
  5. Basic mathematics skills.
