POSITION OVERVIEW:
Respond, Inc. is in search of qualified educators for their Prekindergarten classrooms. These are full-time, salaried roles with a commitment of 7-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.

ADDITIONAL INCENTIVES:
$2,000 bonus after the initial 3 months of service, followed by an additional $1,000 after completing 5 months of employment.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
Annual salary ranges from $54,272 to $89,972, based on experience, for a 10-month work period.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The educator will utilize their expertise to design and deliver instructional content that equips students with essential skills for success in a global context.

Act as a classroom leader, providing exceptional instruction that enables all students to achieve academic excellence and meet established standards.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure comprehensive support and services for all students.
Continuously monitor student performance data to inform instructional strategies.
Provide constructive feedback to students aimed at enhancing their academic outcomes.
Implement and uphold classroom rules and consequences consistently.

Regularly assess student progress in alignment with district goals and effectively communicate this information to families.

Take ownership of students' mastery of academic standards.
Innovatively integrate technology into lesson plans.
Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
Participate actively in professional development, team planning, and data analysis sessions.
Demonstrate the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs, including those with special educational requirements or language barriers.
Exhibit a commitment to contributing to a dynamic team focused on transforming urban education.
Show flexibility and resilience through past experiences.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
In-depth knowledge of early childhood development principles and appropriate educational practices.
Engaging personality that captivates children.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both adults and children.
Ability to collaborate positively with teachers, support staff, parents, and students.
Excellent organizational capabilities.
Proficient in necessary software for recordkeeping and documentation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution required.
P-3 certification required.
CE/CEAS certification required; or enrollment in a Provisional Teacher Program (PTP) required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience working with children required.
Completion of a criminal history background check, physical examination, and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods within the classroom.
Must be capable of lifting up to 45 pounds.

Must be able to sit and stand on the floor throughout the day, and bend, kneel, or squat to engage with children at their level.
