Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse at University Hospitals, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative healthcare team. This is a full-time, night shift position with a $8000 Sign On Bonus for external candidates with 1 year of RN experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the nursing process by delivering effective relationship-based nursing care.
  • Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
  • Develop self and contribute to the professional practice of nursing.
  • Display leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma in Nursing or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of nursing process and practice required; 1 year of RN experience required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio required and Basic Life Support (BLS) Required or must be obtained during nursing orientation.
Work Environment

This is a night shift position in the Acute Care & Orthopedic unit (3 East) at University Hospitals. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
