Join Our Team as a Community Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Community Engagement Specialist to join our team at Paths Management Services, LLC. As a key member of our Resident Services Department, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning, implementing, evaluating, and adapting property services, programs, and activities.

About the Role
  • Assess resident needs and opportunities through various data collection methods, including interviews and surveys, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop a Property Services Plan that identifies goals for residents based on assessments and work closely with the Resident Association (where applicable) and individual residents to deliver activities that meet social, health, and recreation needs.
  • Market, organize, and conduct various resident programs, activities, and services based on the Property Services Plan, ensuring alignment with community goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Research and develop a directory of high-quality, dependable, and affordable service providers and resident resources for commonly needed services that enrich and complement the service opportunities available to the community's residents.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with social service agencies and local government agencies to enhance community partnerships and access to essential services.
  3. Manage on-site partnerships with third-party service providers, track outcomes, and assist with necessary documentation.
  4. Provide general case management, intake, and referral services to all residents, resolving and managing resident needs while coordinating external services.
  5. Educate management associates on issues related to aging in place, resident rights, service coordination, and special needs of persons with disabilities as appropriate.
  6. Maintain strict adherence to the federal Fair Housing Act and ensure proper documentation is being maintained at the site in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working with special needs populations such as seniors, persons with disabilities, and low-income populations.
  • Ability to work with a culturally diverse population and conduct compelling interviews while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, a service-driven personality, and ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office suite and proficient in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or equivalent education required.
