Dental Care Specialist

Familia Dental is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team in Janesville, WI.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist dentists during procedures, and promote our practice's culture and mission.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and escort patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure treatment rooms are equipped and stocked with necessary inventory.
- Take and record patient medical and dental histories, vital signs, and blood pressure.
- Document all dental procedures performed during each patient visit.
- Develop and take dental diagnostic x-rays.
- Pour and base diagnostic models and fabricate temporary restorations.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, and prepare materials for dental procedures.
- Provide dental education and information to patients to ensure awareness of dental health and oral hygiene strategies.
- Notify the Office Manager of equipment trouble or general safety concerns.
- Attend and participate in morning huddles, chart reviews, and regular office meetings.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with dental management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Detail-oriented and able to carry out written and verbal instructions.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Meet state requirements for DA duties, continuing education, or license.

Availability / Schedule:
Office Hours: M-F, 9 AM - 7 PM and Sat, 9 AM - 4 PM.
Full-time employment:
- 30-40 hours per week (4+ days a week).
- Available to work Saturdays as needed.
- Full shifts (8-10 hours).
