Position Overview

Radiology Associates of Ocala is seeking a dedicated MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team in a full-time capacity, working from Tuesday to Saturday.

As an MRI Imaging Specialist at RAO, you will be expected to operate independently within a bustling outpatient imaging facility. A comprehensive understanding of MR imaging techniques, patient safety protocols, and the nuances of patient care is essential for this role. Candidates must be prepared to commit to shifts from Tuesday through Saturday.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the elderly
  • In-depth knowledge of MR imaging protocols and procedures
  • Willingness to adapt and advance with emerging technologies
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Current CPR certification
  • ARRT registration as a technologist
  • Advanced MRI certification
  • Valid Florida State Licensure
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Hitachi and/or GE MRI scanners
  • Familiarity with general computer systems and PACS
