Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at Peachtree Medical Center PC. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong ability to multitask, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Verify and update patient appointments, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling
  • Resolve patient complaints or issues by investigating problems and finding suitable solutions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including account information and interaction documentation
  • Adhere to established communication procedures, guidelines, and policies when interacting with patients
  • Collect copays and outstanding balances at the time of service
  • Update patient information in the EMR to ensure current and accurate records
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Receptionist required
  • Preferred experience with athenaOne EMR and VOIP phone systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
