Key Responsibilities for Retail Inventory Specialist

  • Ensure that retail locations are stocked with appropriate types and quantities of products.
  • Organize, display, price, and rotate merchandise within stores.
  • Maintain the integrity of store shelves by removing expired or damaged items.
  • Monitor inventory levels in relation to sales performance.
  • Enhance sales volume and profitability by identifying products that align with customer preferences.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with independent and corporate clients, retail locations, and the central office.
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to forecast product requirements.
  • Develop merchandising strategies that align customer expectations with company goals.
  • Create engaging displays to maximize customer interaction with products.
  • Achieve sales targets and metrics established by the central office.

Qualifications

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in retail or merchandising is preferred, but training will be provided.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to travel; a valid driver's license is required.
