We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to support our warehouse operations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure efficient handling of all items. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
The Warehouse Team Lead position is situated within our Memphis facility and will report directly to the Production Supervisor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily workflow as directed by the supervisor
- Lead a team of up to 40 full-time and temporary associates
- Train new team members on operational procedures and practices
- Foster a safe and productive work environment for all staff
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to maintain a positive team atmosphere
- Encourage continuous improvement to uphold high-quality standards in daily operations, ensuring excellent service to all customers
- Collaborate with supervisors and employees from other departments to maintain seamless workflow
- Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor
- Be prepared to work overtime, including weekends as necessary
- Perform additional duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least six months of experience in a team lead role or related warehouse experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead and inspire others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Basic math skills are essential
- Preferred certification in the operation and maintenance of standard industrial forklift equipment
- Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to a safe working environment
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:
This role involves regular interaction with internal and external parties, presenting information for decision-making, and managing daily tasks and projects as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position may perform supervisory duties as needed in the absence of the supervisor.
