Our caregivers work tirelessly to empower people with disabilities to live full and independent lives. As a Community-Based Caregiver for People with Complex Needs, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides individualized support and care.

Job Description:

As a caregiver, you will work closely with our clinical staff to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote independence and quality of life. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting individuals with daily living skills, such as meal preparation and medication administration.
  • Providing transportation and support in the community, facilitating outings, field trips, medical appointments, and shopping.
  • Collaborating with clinical staff to set and achieve developmental goals, focusing on community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.
  • Supporting individuals with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, and toileting needs.
  • Redirecting agitated or aggressive behaviors using de-escalation techniques.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
  • Successful clearance of background checks.
  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a commitment to quality care.
