Licensed Practical Nurse

**Job Description**
We're seeking an LPN who can work effectively within a complex environment, handle multiple priorities, and communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. As a member of our healthcare team, you'll provide care that's centered around the needs of each patient, using focused assessments and evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate with patients and their families to ensure their needs are met and they understand their treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication lists, and test results.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and you must be licensed as a practical nurse in the state where you're practicing. We prefer candidates with prior experience in healthcare, but it's not necessary.

Bonus Details:
- A successful graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program approved by the State Board of Nursing is required.
- The individual must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and/or interact appropriately to the ages of the patients served by his/her assigned unit.
- They must also demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
License Requirements:
Licensed practical nurses must maintain state licensure where they are practicing or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement with the state where the facility is located. Basic Life Support OR Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation is also required.
