We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at PABCO Building Products, LLC. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing plans for the maintenance and enhancement of plant equipment and plant process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and resolve personnel and equipment problems, recurring issues, new equipment, and procedures.
- Recommend and implement manufacturing improvement projects, including line improvements and process flow enhancements.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Department to provide effective planning and scheduling.
- May have responsibility for purchasing, inventory, and budget controls related to parts and equipment.
- Coordinate and oversee facility projects.
- Develop plans for equipment installation and upgrades.
- Develop and implement a production maintenance program for the plant.
- May assist with plant operations.
- May design machinery and parts to be machined.
- May prepare drawings, plans, and specifications for parts and installation.
- 0-3 years' experience in manufacturing, with a preference for experience in the gypsum industry.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Five years of experience in the gypsum industry preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Salary offered depends on experience: $75,000 - $95,000 annualized salary. PABCO offers an excellent benefits and compensation package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), profit-sharing retirement plan, and wellness programs.
