About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dentist to fill a Part-Time position at one of our county jail facilities in the Johnson County Area. This role offers a unique chance to provide patient-centered care in a correctional setting, free from the constraints of private practice.

As a Correctional Dentist, you will be responsible for performing dental services within designated hours of operation, utilizing universal precautions, and documenting patients' needs using the SOAP format.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Dentistry Medicine (DDS/DMD)
  • Experienced clinician preferred, but recent graduates encouraged to apply
  • One (1) year of experience in oral surgery preferred
  • Active and unrestricted State Dental License
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and great interpersonal skills
