Terros Health is excited to present a rewarding opportunity for a Crisis Response Specialist within our dedicated team. This role is essential in providing immediate support and stabilization for individuals facing crises.

Our Mobile Crisis teams deliver comprehensive behavioral health services, including prevention, education, and crisis intervention. We cater to a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, offering support through various channels such as phone consultations, walk-in services, and in-home visits. The ideal candidate will possess professionalism, empathy, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

The Crisis Response Specialist will engage in a dual role, providing both on-site crisis intervention and essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the crisis department.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting mobile crisis interventions in various environments, including residences and healthcare facilities.
  • Collaborating effectively with clients, families, and community partners.
  • Facilitating hospital discharges through assessment and planning.
  • Acting as a liaison between the crisis department and call center.
  • Ensuring operational readiness and scheduling within the crisis department.
  • Assisting with documentation audits for accuracy and completeness.
  • Providing clinical oversight to Behavioral Health Technicians as needed.
  • Supporting management with various administrative tasks.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED with at least 1.5 years of behavioral health experience, or an associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or application for one within the first week of employment.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license with a minimum of four years of driving experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
  • Physical capability to perform job-related duties.
  • Successful completion of background checks and pre-employment screenings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in crisis counseling.
  • Master's degree or higher in behavioral health and relevant Arizona licensure.
  • Experience in substance abuse and mental health crisis management.
