Culinary Specialist

The Peaks Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meals that follow established menus and recipes
  • Inspect special diet trays to ensure correct diet is served
  • Prepare cold item foods, bakery, and salad items
  • Cook hot foods as directed by Supervisor(s)
  • Adhere to food service timelines

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one or more years of food preparation experience in a directly related field
  • Culinary background experienced preferred
  • Proficient in English, verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
