Job Summary

The Behavior Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for implementing behavior intervention strategies and supporting students with individualized plans. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies and provide support to students in a variety of settings
  • Collect and analyze data to inform behavior intervention plans and progress monitoring
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure successful implementation of behavior intervention plans
  • Attend training and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in behavior intervention
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid certificate or license from the Ohio Department of Education
  • Successful completion of a 40-hour online RBT course
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
